5k Run
Course
Enjoy a fast and flat 5k run & walk on fully police-monitored roads as part of the GFNY Florida Hardee Endurance Sports Festival.
The 5k packet pickup is at the Hardee County Agri Civic Center, the same location as for the GFNY Cycling race. The 5k course will follow a similar route as the cycling race, and start 15 minutes after the cyclists start their race.
The 5k starts and finishes on Rodeo Drive, with ample parking available nearby. From Rodeo Drive, you will turn left onto Altman Road, then turn left onto West Main Street. Immediately after turning left onto Doyle Carlton Road, at mile 2.05, there is a water station. Follow Doyle Cartlon Road for another half mile, then turn right and head to the finish line on Rodeo Drive.

THE SINGLET: All athletes receive the official singlet. The singlet is ultralight, soft and breathable to make sure you don’t feel it when racing.
CHIP TIMING: Michelob Ultra GFNY Florida Hardee 5k is timed. Each athlete has their own timing chip, which starts right after you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line. Timing results will be available at gfny.cc/results.
FINISHER MEDAL: Every Michelob Ultra GFNY Florida Hardee 5k finisher receives a medal. All finishers also earn a “Finish” towards their 3x GFNY medal or the 10x medal. Go to gfny.com/medals for more information on GFNY’s multi-finisher medals.
